This really isn't a rival to a lot of Paypal's services. It's a checkout system/process (as is kinda implied) and nothing else. Zetetic Apparatchik 16:35, 29 June 2006 (UTC)

I think, it's target is more the pay-per-action CPA advertisement philosophy, than the current pay-per-view or pay-per-click. Google need to be a partner for that. --phatsphere 15:39, 19 July 2006 (UTC)

Google EPayments - Proposed for Deletion

I have proposed Google EPayments for deletion, because it is completely redundant, with the presence of this Checkout article. I have also taken away the merge templates from both the source and destination pages for now. --Mambo Jambo 17:07, 26 August 2006 (UTC)

Advertisement Not Information

The comparison with Paypal makes this read more like a press release. It needs to deleted.

Why does it say that you can not make payments from person to person? That's not found anywhere in the policies or guidelines of Google Checkout (as far as I have read). Does that mean something else that I don't understand? Must be a paypal exec.

Yeah i agree, this information is incorrect you can make payments from one person to another, an invoice just needs to be sent first. This needs changing but i'm not sure how to word it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Herman238 (talk • contribs) 22:25, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
